Residential construction permits – 5% increase in the first four months

The number of the construction permits for residential buildings increased in the first four months compared with the same period of last year with 5% (498 permits) to 10,467, according to the National Institute for Statistics (INS).

Bucharest’s City Hall (PMC) will organize an accelerated restricted tender procedure in order to select a company to complete the Mihai Bravu -Splaiul Unirii overpass. The funds necessary to complete works on the site are estimated at approximately RON 129 million( approx. EUR 28 million), VAT not included.

In the first quarter of 2013 some 71,000 sqm of office space were delivered in Bucharest, a figure approximately equal to the total volume delivered 2012, according to a DTZ Echinox report.
