Energy certificates become mandatory for real estate transactions starting July 19

Owners who want to either sell or rent real estate properties will require an energy certificate in order to conclude contracts. The measure is provided by Law 159/2013 which refers to the energy performance of local buildings.

BREEAM Certification for Małachowski Square in Warsaw

Following the preliminary audit of the project documentation carried out by Hill International, the Małachowski Square office complex currently being developed in the centre of Warsaw, has been entered into the BREEAM environmental certification system with an expected "very good" final rating.

Green fever: 20% of the office stock is certified, more to come

The process of LEED certification for green buildings is currently undergoing for Global City Business Park. The pre-assessment process was completed, and implementation procedure should be determined.

Tudor becomes the biggest green office owner with an extra investment of EUR 1.5-3 mil./building

The office projects West Gate and Novo Park, situated in the western and northern Bucharest have received BREEAM Very Good, certification. Following this certifications, Liviu Tudor, the owner of the projects, has 100,000 sqm green offices in his portfolio.

Atenor signs first tenant to Vaci Greens in Budapest

Atenor, Belgian developer listed on Nyse-Euronext, announced the signing of a lease agreement in VaciGreens Building A in Budapest with SYKES, leading provider of customer contact management solutions and services. SYKES will occupy 2125m² on an entire floor.

Skanska’s Green Court - a green development

Skanska breaks ground on its first project in Romania: 52,000 sqm of green office space in northern Bucharest. Excavators have been on site at Skanska‘s first Romanian development for just over a month now, and the building has already received LEED Gold pre-certification, suggesting the company is serious about its green, efficient ambitions.
