Sutdy: Construction costs in Bucharest, the cheapest in Europe

Construction works pick up pace in September

In September 2015, the volume of construction works increased over the previous month, both as gross series (13.7 percent) and as adjusted series (0.7 percent), show data released by the National Institute for Statistics. In August the volume of construction works had shown a smaller rise in gross series, of 5.2 percent, while adjusted series decreased by 0.4 percent.

Construction managers expect volumes to drop 22 pct for next three months

According to the business tendency survey of October 2015 published by the National Institute for Statistics (INS), managers in manufacturing and retail trade forecast a relative stability until the end of the year for their sectors, while construction managers foresee decreases both in production and orders.
