In Bucharest, the increase was of 5.57%, while in major cities across the country, the growth was of over 60%, according to data from Esop Consulting, cited by local Mediafax.

 

The volume of transactions in Bucharest, including relocations, pre-leases, expansions and renegotiations, increased from over 291,000 sqm in 2013 to more than 308,300 sqm last year.

 

Outside Bucharest, in cities such as Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Iasi and Timisoara, a total of 37,377 sqm were traded last year, up from over 23,000 sqm. (source: Romania-insider.com)
