The new headquarters spans on two floors, covering a total space of 600 sqm, being located in the center of the city, in a modern office building close to a commercial centers.

The company chose to open a new headquarters in Pitesti because of the development potential of the city- given the recent progress and plans of investing into infrastructure as well as the potential of the Pitesti university, which has a rich offer of technical classes.

Another important advantage is that it is close to Bucharest and it is possible for the Bucharest and Pitesti development centers to communicate rapidly.

According to John Cotterell (in top picture), CEO Endava, this is “part of the company’s strategy for organic growth and to consolidate its position on the Romanian market. ”

“The new headquarters will benefit from a tight collaboration with the Bucharest one, and we expect this to contribute to a rapid development,” he said.

The investments made by Endava over the first 12 months since the inauguration of the Pitesti headquarters will exceed EUR 125,000. For the next year of activity, the company estimates similar investments.

“We are planning to recruit approximately 50 people by the end of 2015, and we wish to form in Pitesti a  sound team of at least 100 people over the next three years,” said Radu Grosu, delivery director of the Endava center in Bucharest, who is also in charge with opening the new center in Pitesti.

The open positions include Senior .Net Developer, Automation Tester, Software Tester, Security Test Engineer and Java Developer.

As part of the recruitment strategy, the company will organize Open Day events and programs for the Pitesti graduates.

Approximately 40 percent of the employees of the center will be recruited through the company’s program dedicated to IT graduates.

Over the past two years, Endava has seen a growth of more than 80 percent in the number of employees in Romania. The other three development centers in Romania are located in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Iasi, where the company has more than 1,200 employees. (source: business-review.eu)
