Only the sellers will pay the taxes this year as they owned the assets on December 31, 2015, said Daniel Pana, senior tax manager at KPMG.
“Each taxpayer will pay this year taxes for everything he owned on December 31, 2015,” said Pana, cited by local Mediafax.
The new Fiscal Code and the Fiscal Procedure Code brought these changes into force. The deadlines for paying taxes are still March 31 and September 30. (Source: Romania-insider.com)
