At national level, the net average earnings rose by 14.3% in June compared to the same month in 2015 reaching RON 2,078 (EUR 460). In 17 counties in Romania, the earnings remained below RON 1,600 (EUR 360).

 

The earnings include salaries, as well as any vouchers and bonuses received by employees.

 

The employees in Bucharest had the biggest wages in the country, with net average earnings of EUR 631 in June. In Cluj, the earnings amounted to about EUR 505. (source: Romania-insider.com)
