The Office was launched in full economic crisis, being one of the few developments of that period. The project, with a total rental area of more than 59,000 sqm, developed in three distinct stages, was completed in 5 years, according to the initial plan announced by developers in 2012. 
The third stage of the construction works was initiated in the spring of 2016, the 18,500 sq m leasable area of this phase being completed in 15 months.

''The Office has enjoyed a great interest from the region's business environment from the region (...). The Office was designed to offer flexibility in terms of expansion possibilities, with the project being able to accommodate up to 1,000 employees on one floor", said Marius Barbu, Asset Manager at NEPI.

The nearly 60,000 sqm of us in use have a 95% occupancy rate, with advanced discussions currently underway for the areas still available, according to the developer. At present, over 5,000 people work in The Office in Cluj-Napoca. The Cluj-Napoca office building attracted companies such as National Instruments, Yonder, 3Pillar Global, HP, Leoni, Betfair, Lohika Systems, Yardi, COS, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Wolters Kluwer, TUI Travel, Bombardier, Bosch and MOL.

The entrepreneur Ovidiu Şandor from Timişoara is founder and CEO of Mulberry Development real estate development company, known especially for City Business Center Timişoara and The Office Cluj Napoca projects.
