"The number of employees working in Class A and B office buildings is steadily increasing. As the availability of labor is reduced, tenants are increasingly interested in occupying office space in buildings to support them in their efforts to attract and retain talented employees. Thus, the owners and the companies that manage office buildings are also involved in the process of attracting new talents and retention of existing employees", says Madalina Cojocaru, partner, Office Agency C&W Echinox.

Pipera Sud (Dimitrie Pompeiu), Barbu Văcărescu - Floreasca and the western area still occupy the top three positions in terms of the number of employees in modern office buildings, with about 52,000 people in Pipera Sud office buildings, around 45,000 in the Barbu Văcărescu - Floreasca area and around 38,500 in the west, the three areas concentrating 63% of the employees of the modern office buildings in Bucharest.

Most office buildings with the highest square meter per employee are located mainly in the central area and CBD (Central Business District: Piata Victoriei - Charles de Gaulle Square), which mainly host company headquarters such as consulting, insurance and banking or pharmaceutical services. At the opposite, the smallest square meter per employee remains the Pipera Sud (Dimitrie Pompeiu) area, the office area dedicated to back-office operations, being a destination chosen especially by outsourcing companies.
