Mihai Spulber, the financial director of Mega Image Romania, has declared that the money would be used for the network and logistic warehouse development.

The Belgians have the largest store network in modern retail in Romania, with over 300 stores. This year 13 units were opened, but there are approx. 100 units scheduled for opening over the year, a similar level to 2012, according to sources in the market.

Mega Image is the most aggressive retailer considering expansion, the store openings increasing its turnover up to EUR 530 million last year, with 35 pct higher than the level in 2012. (source: zf.ro)
