„We would like to have in our portfolio a building in CBD (central business district). We are opened to several options, considering the opportunities”, has declared for ZF Sorin Vişoianu, country manager office & logistics for Romania and Bulgaria within Immofinanz.

He didn’t offer additional details regarding to this subject, but according to ZF information Immofinanz has already started negotiations for the acquisitions of a building in Piata Victoriei area in Bucharest, the main target being the building Premium Plaza, which is in the portfolio of the real estate division of the Volksbank group. Premium Plaza has a rentable area of 8,600 sq. m and was completed in 2008, the market value of the building being estimated by ZF to approx. EUR 25 million.

Immofinanz is the largest office owner in Bucharest, with almost 10 pct. market share, but the group’s buildings are mainly situated in Baneasa and Pipera areas, thereby the acquisition of a building in downtown will enable the Austrians to address a new client category. (source: zf.ro)
