Globe Trade Centre has entered into an agreement to sell three shopping centres in Buzău, Piatra Neamț and Suceava, which have been valued at between EUR 6-7 mln. Each of the three properties comprises between 10,000 and 14,000 sq m of net leasable space. The three assets were all loss making so GTC expects its profit and loss statement to improve by EUR 3-4 mln per annum. The transaction will also result in a revaluation loss of EUR 19 mln in Q3 2012. The buyer has yet to be disclosed and the transaction should be finalised in Q1 2013. GTC has also recently extended the maturity of PLN 206 mln of bonds until 2017/2018 through the issue of yet more bonds.
