Globalworth, the owner of the largest office area in Romania, paid EUR 42 million for the first building within Green Court Bucharest, with a rentable area of 19,500 sq. m. For the second building, with a rentable area of 18,000 sq. m., Globalworth could pay a similar price.

 

The second building was completed in the beginning of September this year, following EUR 33 million investments. The occupancy rate is 72 pct., but the building will be fully let by the end of the year. The tenants include Carrefour, Addeco and Sanofi.

 

The works for the third building within the project have reached the level of the fifth floor, being scheduled for completion in June next year. Green Court Bucharest includes three buildings with a total rentable area of 52,000 sq. m. the first building was completed in the end of 2014 and is now fully let. The project is developed on a plot of land bought by Skanska with EUR 17 million from a company controlled by the businessman Gabriel Popoviciu.

Last month, Skanska announced the acquisition of a plot exceeding 21,000 sq. m on the platform of the former Pumac factory, where the company also intends to develop office buildings. (source: economica.net)
