The certification recognizes the high standards of sustainability and healthy working environment offered by the 57,000 sqm of Class A office space in the newest business hub in the northern area of Bucharest.

That is why the BREEAM certification we received for Tower 1 and Tower 2 is not only a recognition of the high standards our buildings have, but also a step towards our goal of developing a greener portfolio”, said Dimitris Pergamalis, Head of Construction & Development at Globalworth.

All buildings in the Globalworth portfolio in Romania have "green" certification, most of them have received BREEAM Excellent / LEED Gold or even higher level certification. Moreover, Globalworth Tower, one of the buildings developed by the company in the northern area of the capital, was the first project in Romania and Southeastern Europe to receive the highest green certificate, namely LEED Platinum.

Tower 1 was completed in July 2017 and has an area of 29,000 square meters of Class A offices leased to multinational companies such as Amazon, Mindspace and Honeywell. The building has 12 floors and two underground levels, giving its tenants environmentally-friendly workspaces, green areas, natural light on each floor and various retail facilities, outlining the clearest picture of the balance between office and personal life. The second completed building in Globalworth Campus, Tower 2, was developed in accordance with the same high standards and was completed in April last year, offering another 28,000 square meters, leased to companies such as Stefanini Romania, Mazars Romania, Chain IQ and P4Cards.
