According to ZF, there are rumors in the market that businessman George Copos, owner Ana Holding, is already in negotiations with PwC Romania, the consultancy and audit firm, for an office space of about 8,000 sqm in the future Ana Tower project, a rumor denied though by the developer.
The office tower is developed by Ana Tower Offices, owned entirely by Ana Tower, controlled by George Copos and set up in 2007 to build the tallest building in Bucharest, valued at 70 million euros at that moment.
The office tower was intended to be built, starting 2012, near the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Currently, the total investment is estimated at about 50 million euros and the works could be ready in December 2019.
"It will be an office building only. We have permits and we have already started construction for two weeks. There will be credits and our money for construction. I am a Romanian and I invest in Romania. It will be a unique project", Copos said, cited by national.ro.
For the new investment, George Copos took over the full control of Ana Tower Offices, buying 50% of the share capital of the Global Trade Center with which he had initially associated.
