Becali has received over 111,000 lei for a total area of 1,288 sqm, with a compensation of 86 lei (EUR 19) per square metre while Robert Negoita has received 718,600 lei for 8,332 sqm, according to  the decision approved by the Government, Mediafax says.

The total compensations approved by the Government for the expropriation in this phase reached 47.1 million lei (EUR 10.5 million) for 60 plots and buildings with a total area of 63,860 sqm in Voluntari and Bucharest sector 2. The works are done in order to complete the missing highway segment with a length of 6.5 km.

The biggest compensation for the expropriation will be received by Galeria Shoping Center, owed by GTC Real Estate group, with Israeli shareholders. The real estate is giving away four plots of lands in Petricani Road, sector 2, Bucharest, with a total area of 15,031 sqm for the amount of 23 million lei, 1,530 lei (EUR 340)/sqm.

An important amount (13.7 million lei) will also receive the real estate company Euroholding Land, with Spanish shareholders, for the area of 8,971 sqm in Petricani Road.

Mobexpert will receive 96,451 lei for 63 sqm expropriated on Fabrica de Glucoza Road, also in sector 2 Bucharest.

The A3 Highway Bucharest-Ploiesti was opened in July last year, after being postponed several times from 2010 onward.

In April last year started the works for the 6.5 km that will complete the highway, between Petricani road and Bucharest Ring Road. (source: wall-street.ro)
