This takes Tibbett’s total scale of automotive operations in Bucharest to around 11,500 sqm, writes LBR.

According to company representatives, Tibbett has almost quadrupled the scale of its automotive logistics operation in the Romanian capital in the last five years.

The client is a leading manufacturer of turbochargers and turbo technologies for commercial, passenger and private vehicles. In addition to managing the external warehouse, Tibbett operates the factory warehouse inside its Bucharest plant.

“We have quietly and consistently built on our success, so that – with further projects in the pipeline – the automotive sector is now rapidly catching up with retail/FMCG in terms of scale within our portfolio of contract logistics operations in South East Europe”, said CEO David Goldsborough.

The company manages some 80,000 sq metres of warehousing in Romania – bonded, chilled, frozen and ambient (ISO-certified) – at ten locations across Bucharest and in Constanta, Deva and Timisoara. (source: business-review.eu)
