Renting a coworking space starts at around €700 and can go up to €10,000, depending on the type of office chosen, the number of users, and the contract duration.

More and more companies and entrepreneurs are opting for coworking instead of traditional long‑term office leases because of contractual flexibility and the elimination of many significant extra costs, such as furnishing, installing internet services, or purchasing essential equipment to run their operations.

“In 2025, the coworking market is among the big winners in the current economic climate: rising fixed costs and tax pressure are pushing companies to choose flexible spaces with advantageous contracts and premium amenities. Increasingly, coworking offices are being leased mid‑to‑long‑term for departments or projects, and entrepreneurs and small teams use them constantly. Companies choose Supertree not only for the modern and flexible workspaces, but also for the package of included benefits – from business consulting and mentoring programs, to ongoing networking opportunities. All of these provide concrete support in making strategic decisions and accelerating the growth of their businesses. This summer, the occupancy rate exceeded 60%, and by year‑end we estimate 85‑90%, driven by increased demand from SMEs and multinational companies,” says Gianina Crăciun, Founder of Supertree Workspaces & More.

Flexible offices: the preferred solution for multinationals, SMEs and freelancers

Whereas in the past coworking was preferred mainly by freelancers, now flexible offices are increasingly chosen by multinationals, large Romanian companies, SMEs, entrepreneurs, solo‑founders and professionals in liberal professions from various fields including construction, IT, tech, pharma, fintech, consulting, law. A recent example is a French agriculture firm that rented a private office for its team in Romania.

The average rental duration is 1–2 years for private offices, and 12 months for open space setups, for teams or departments of 5‑15 people, seeking to optimize costs, with flexible contracts and included services – from utilities and internet to meeting rooms, reception, free access to a community of specialists, business consulting, events.

“Coworking spaces are preferred today not only for flexible offices, but also for meeting rooms fully equipped with video projector, microphone and cameras, themed workshops and networking, offering a professional environment at more accessible costs than a traditional headquarters. Companies especially value access to business consulting – a unique service on the market – that helps them make strategic decisions and streamline their processes. In addition, mentoring programs and the active community of professionals support the rapid launch of projects and the sustainable development of businesses, while multinationals find here the support they need to enter the Romanian market. We created Supertree not just as a coworking space, but as an ecosystem with integrated services and extended benefits – from modern flexible offices to business consulting and access to mentorship,” says Gianina Crăciun, Founder of Supertree Workspaces & More.

The amenities and benefits at Supertree make the difference when choosing a workspace: with 2,200 sqm of modern space, entrepreneurs and firms have access to 34 private offices for 2‑6 people, sizes between 11 and 60 sqm; 3 open‑space zones with 60 private desks, over 60 hot desking places, meeting rooms, training and workshop rooms – all fully equipped and customizable. In total, Supertree has desk capacity for 280 persons. There are also dedicated areas for training, workshops, meetings and collaborative working sessions. All spaces are fully equipped, ergonomic and can be customized to the team’s needs.

The coworking market is growing, and in 2025 it's estimated that more than 30% of SMEs will use such spaces. Bucharest surpassed 40,000 sqm of coworking in 2024, more than 20% up compared to 2023.
