“The SHORE Platinum certification reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability, safety, resilience, and operational performance. To achieve the SHORE Platinum this year, we had to undergo the most rigorous building operations assessment and we are proud to add this outstanding recognition to our portfolio. The SHORE Platinum certification is not only a confirmation of our efforts, but also a promise that we will continue our engagement to be a model of excellence in all operational areas,” said Anca Alexandrescu, Property Manager at RPHI Romania, the company that owns and manages SkyTower.

The SHORE PLATINUM Certification confirms that SkyTower is operated to the highest international standards of operational resilience and safety. FCC Office Building, the second office building owned and managed by RPHI in Romania, has also been awarded the SHORE PLATINUM Certification. SHORE Certification is the world’s only independent and internationally recognised certification scheme for the operational risk, resilience, and governance of real estate assets and operations.

SHORE Certification systematically assesses and benchmarks asset performance in six core areas designed to provide a comprehensive, 360-degree appraisal of the real estate asset.

SHORE Certification is an industry benchmark for effective ESG performance, prioritizing human well-being, asset security, and environmental protection. SHORE certification enriches asset value by creating safe and sustainable environments, fortifying governance protocols within these settings. SHORE certification helps organizations enhance and quantify safety, security, sustainability, and well-being across all stakeholder interactions with the property.

“SkyTower and FCC have received the SHORE Platinum Certificate, making them the first office buildings worldwide to attain this achievement. To qualify for the Platinum level, the buildings needed to successfully pass a thorough and detailed review of their safety and security protocols. We are very happy to see the commitment of RPHI as owner of SkyTower and FCC Office Building towards safety and security, which is a crucial aspect of the “G” in ESG.” said Magnus Roxner, COO of SAFE Asset Group.

Before achieving the SHORE PLATINUM Certification, SkyTower received three other international certifications for sustainable buildings. These include the LEED Platinum certification for Operations and Maintenance (O+M), the Gold DGNB certification (Blue Building Category) awarded by OGNI, and the now replaced SHORE Gold Certification.

SkyTower distinctly exemplifies a combination of sustainability and performance in real estate. Key features comprise employing state-of-the-art technologies to conserve energy, efficiently managing resources to drive innovation, and the implementation of new practices to promote a healthy and inspiring work environment.
