Rott Haus Consulting invested €2.5m in two micro-hydropower plants near Cugir in Romania’s Alba county. The two power plants have an installed capacity of 2.25 megawatts and an estimated output power of 9.9 megawatt hours. One plants is located on the Raul Mare River, while the other is on the Bosorog River. The initial plan was to build six micro-power plants, but the investor cut the project’s scope, because the building permit imposed conditions that would make securing funding difficult, according to the daily Adevarul.
