Year-on-year, in July 2016 production in construction grew by 3.1 percent in the eurozone. Among EU member states, the biggest increases were recorded in Spain (12 percent), Sweden (10 percent), France (3.3 percent) and Romania (2.0 percent). On the other hand, the biggest decrease in production in construction work was recorded in Slovakia (- 23.3 percent), Hungary (- 17.6 percent) and Poland (- 15.1 percent).

 

In July 2016, year-on-year, production in construction work increased by 1.1 percent in the European Union and by 1.8 percent in the eurozone. Among member states, the biggest increases were recorded in France (4.8 percent), Slovenia (2 percent), Spain (1.9 percent) and Germany (1.8 percent), and the sharpest decline was recorded in Slovakia (- 11 percent), Hungary (-3.2 percent) and Bulgaria (- 1.4 percent).
