In the reported period 3,6240 construction permits were released for residential buildings, with rises reported in the following development regions: South-East (+598 permits), North-East (+452), North-West (+274), South-Muntenia (+256), West (+37) and South-West Oltenia (+15). Decreases in the number of construction permits released for residential buildings were recorded in the Centre (-211 permits) and Bucharest-Ilfov (-171) development regions.

 

As compared to the same month of the previous year, rises were reported in the following development regions: South-East (+32 permits), North-East (+23) and Centre (+7). Decreases in the number of construction permits were recorded in the West (-48 permits), South-Muntenia (-27), North-West (-7) and South-West Oltenia (-2) development regions.

 

In November 2,963 construction permits were released for residential buildings, of which 55.3% were for the rural area. This was a 1.5 percent drop against November 2014.

 

The regional distribution shows a decrease in the number of construction permits released for residential buildings in almost all development regions, with the most significant drops reported in the following regions: North-West (-90 permits), South-Muntenia (-72), South-East (-65) and North-East (-61).
