The authorities issued 2,682 permits in December 2014, down by 1.2% over November 2014 and up by 5.1% year-on-year.
The number of residential building permits increased in the Bucuresti-Ilfov region with 1,241 permits, and in the North-West region with 280, according to data from the National Statistics Institute INS.
Numbers went down in six regions, namely in the Center (-414), the North-East (-380), the South-West (-323), the South (-263), the West (-198) and the South-East (-47) regions.
