“Raiffeisen Bank has starting April a sole headquarter in Bucharest, in Sky Tower building ", has declared Steven van Groningen, the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank. Sky Tower, situated between Barbu Văcărescu and Calea Floreasca is the tallest building in Romania, with 37 floors. The construction was completed at the end of last year. The bank occupies six floors in Sky Tower, from two to seven, almost 7,000 sqm as well as a building from the vicinity, Floreasca Office, with a 16,000 sqm rentable area. SkyTower and Floreasca Office represent the office component of Floreasca City, developed by Raiffeisen Evolution, which will also include a commercial centre. Raiffeisen Property bought in November 2011, the office component of the project, a moment when it was made public that Raiffeisen Bank will occuply a part of the office space. Raiffeisen Bank obtained in 2012 a net profit of EUR 88 million, the best result on the local banking market. At the end of 2012 Raiffeisen Bank had 5,361 employees. (sursa: economica.net)
