In five of Romania’s regions, the number of building permits went up in this period. The highest increase was recorded in the South-East region. The number dropped in three regions, however, including the Bucharest-Ilfov region.

In July, the number of building permits rose by 4.3% compared to July 2014, reaching over 4,000, but dropped by 3.5% compared to June. More than half of these 4,000 building permits were issued in rural areas. (source: Romania-insider.com)
