"We already have a pre-lease rate of almost 25%, more than a year before the project is completed, a fact that shows interest in Unirii View and the desire of companies", says Yves Weerts, the developer of Unirii View.

The Belgian will invest EUR 33 million in the development of the building, which will have a leasable area of approximately 18,000 square meters, the delivery being estimated for the summer of 2018.

The 73-meter Unirii View building is located on Corneliu Coposu Boulevard and has 18 floors: the ground floor, 17 floors for offices and the last technical floor, plus an underground parking divided into 3 levels.

"The choice made by NTT Data confirms once again the trend we are anticipating for the years 2018 - 2020: strong service employers must be at the center. Office buildings with very good specifications, multiple facilities and a central location are long-term sustainable projects - buildings where the tenants' logos do not change after ten years", says Andreea Paun, managing partner of Griffes consulting company, the transaction’s broker.

NTT Data Romania will move next year to its headquarters in the Unirii area, being,  according to developer data, the first large IT & C company to choose renting offices in a central area in Bucharest. The surface taken in Unirii View is four times larger than the company's current headquarters, that is, the Phoenix Tower on Calea Vitan.

"For the financial year we are planning to achieve a turnover of 55 million Euros and increase the NTT Data Romania team to 1,600 members, from 1,450 people today," says Daniel Metz, CEO of NTT Data Romania, part of The Japanese concern with the same name, a giant with annual business of over 13 billion Euros and over 76,000 employees worldwide.

The first phase of the development of Unirii View will end this week with the completion of subterranean works. The general contractor designated for Unirii View is Bog'Art. (source: zf.ro)
