Several large companies will conclude an agreement with ANAF to send information on their transactions in real time, in exchange for not receiving tax controls, reports local Hotnews.ro. The mechanism exists in countries like the Netherlands, Great Britain, and even Russia. However, the program would apply only to very large companies, as it involves a lot of data.

Some countries have included in this program about 10-15 large contributors, said Mihaela Mitroi, PwC partner.

Also, the new Fiscal Code will make the difference between taxpayers with a good behaviour which failed to make some payments due to liquidity issues, and fraudsters who break laws, said Attila György, state secretary within the Finance Ministry, cited by Profit.ro. The tax controls will be made based on the contributors’ history. (source: business-review.eu)
