The company Société Générale, major shareholder of BRD, doubled its area occupied within West Gate, reaching 5,000 sq. m, while UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions (UBIS) reached, by expanding its existing area, to almost 12,500 sq. m occupied in Novo Park.

The new spaces taken over by the two tenants in West Gate and Novo Park totalize 5,000 sq. m. The average occupancy rate of the two office parks, which sum up 150,000 sq. m A class office spaces has increased to almost 97%.

 “2013 was a year when we succeeded in attracting new tenants, allowing the expansion of the existing ones and renegotiating leases which made history, such as the one with HP, the biggest tenant on the office market”, Liviu Tudor, the president of Genesis Development has declared.

The office park West Gate, situated in Militari district, in the proximity of the metro station Preciziei, includes five office buildings, with a total area of 75,000 sq. m The companies with office in West Gates include Dacia Renault, Siemens, Ericsson, WNS, Société Générale, PPD (Pharmaceutical Product Development) Romania, Panasonic, Citibank, Alpha Bank, Carestream Health, Medicover and Accenture.

Novo Park, situated in the vicinity of Pipera metro station includes seven office buildings with a rentable area of approx. 75,000 sq. m.  The tenants of Novo Parks include Hewlett-Packard (HP), Procter & Gamble (P&G), Mondelez Romania (former Kraft Foods), Garanti Group Romania, Ringier, Sodexo, Infineon Technologies, Yokagawa, Luxoft and UniCredit Business Integrated Solutions (UBIS).

Recently, Genesis Development invested EUR 800,000 for new facilities, infrastructure works and landscape in Novo Park. Those investments were part of the ongoing improvement program Genesis Development runs in Novo Park and in West Gate.


This year, both office parks obtained the certification BREEAM Very Good, becoming the first green office parks in Romania. Genesis Development is currently the owner of the biggest green office area on the local market. (source:
