Following 8 years activity within Colliers, Maria Florea, former manager of the office department, becomes head of Office Agency within Jones Lang LaSalle. Marius Scuta will stay head of the office department and tenant representation division.

Maria Florea graduated the Economic Sciences Academy in Bucharest, specialized in marketing, with an experience of 8 years in the real estate market and over 60 transactions portfolio, on approx. 70,000 sq. m office spaces.

The new division will support the exclusive Tenant Representation division, through the exclusive representation of the landlords and the non-corporate clients as tenants and will grant its clients access to a large range of broking and consultancy services.

In 2013, the office department within Jones Lang LaSalle signed important transactions on the market segment, including Electronic Arts Inc., Honeywell, Deutsche Bank and the expansion of Procter and Gamble’s lease in Iride Business Park.

“2014 announces to be an interesting year for the office market, growing compared to 2013, considering the interest of the IT, SSC and BPO companies in opening new operations in Romania as a favourite destination among concurrent countries in the CEE zone. We will assist to the development of new offices hubs, as part of the challenge to counterbalance Bucharest from the urban and traffic points of view, through the delivery of some important office projects such as Green Gate, Green Court, City Offices and AFI Park 2 and 3”, said Marius Scuta, head of Office Department & Tenant Representation in within JLL.
