The Austrian developer Real4You obtained the building permit for its 70,000 sqm Mega Mall shopping center. Construction is scheduled to start in Bucharest next year, according to the project’s leasing agents, Colliers and DTZ. Completion is set for late 2014. Mega Mall will go up on the former factory Electroaparataj, near Pantelimon Boulevard. The tenant list includes Carrefour, Flanco and Altex, the entertainment operators Slot Point Casino and Who Grand, C&A, H&M, Kenvelo, Lee Cooper, Celio, Lashez and Office Shoes. Real4You plans to develop several other Mega Mall shopping centers around Romania, in cities like Satu Mare, Focsani and Targu Mures. The shopping centers will be between 18,000 sqm and 22,000 sqm and will be anchored by a supermarket or a hypermarket.
