This is the company’s third deposit, after the one in Popesti Leordeni and the one in Bucharest built specifically for the collaboration with online retailer eMAg.

Back in March, Frans Muller, general director of Delhaize, announced that the retail group will continue its expansion in Bucharest, where it was also planning on building a new distribution center.

Xavier Piesvaux, general manager of Mega Image Romania, also said that the new center should become operational in 2016.

Mega Image recently passed the 400-unit network threshold, after opening nine new units (both supermarkets and Shop&go proximity stores) in the week before Christmas. (source: business-review.eu)
