In a notable transaction for the Bucharest office market, home improvement retailer Leroy Merlin has leased approximately 4,000 square meters of office space within the Floreasca Park building.
Floreasca Park, situated in the dynamic Floreasca – Barbu Vacarescu submarket, is a substantial office complex boasting a total leasable area of 39,350 sq. m. The building is jointly owned by Resolution Property and Zeus Capital Management and holds a prestigious BREEAM “Excellent” certification, reflecting its high standards in sustainability and building performance – a crucial factor for modern businesses prioritizing environmental responsibility and employee well-being.
Leroy Merlin joins an established community of tenants within Floreasca Park, including prominent names such as Goodyear, Kellanova, and Metro Digital. This diverse tenant mix further solidifies the building's reputation as a preferred address for significant companies.
Mathieu Bauduin, CEO of Leroy Merlin Romania, commented on the move: “The relocation to a larger location is a natural step in the evolution of our company. It is the result of the constant growth of our business, the expansion of our teams and our commitment to ambitious long-term development plans.” This move underlines the retailer’s positive trajectory and the need for expanded facilities to support its growing operations in Romania.
Bucharest’s booming office market
