Electronic Arts-AFI Park 2

AFI Europe rented to the video game producer Electronic Arts 11,700 sq. m in the second building of the office complex AFI Park, representing 95% of the total area of the building, the value of the contract, signed for a period of seven years, being estimated at EUR 2.1 million per year. This is the biggest office transaction this year.

AFI Park is also one of the best transacted new office projects in Bucharest, both buildings succeeding in securing important tenants before the completion. The transaction was brokered by Jones Lang LaSalle (representing the tenant) and The Advisers/Knight Frank (representing the owner).

Deutsche Bank-Upground

Deutsche Bank rented this year 7,250 sq. m offices in Upground complex for a support center, representing the main entry of a new company on Bucharest market which has created hundreds of new jobs. The transaction was brokered by JLL.


The American company Honeywell signed a lease for 11,124 sq. m in Upground, a transaction including the extension of the existing lease and an expansion, according to Jones Lang LaSalle, the transaction broker. Honneywell extended the rented area with approx. 6,000 sq. m.

EY-Tower Center

EY rented this year 4,500 sq. m in Tower Center. The office tower taken over by Ioannis Papalekas and Dragos Bilteanu succeeded in attracting some important tenants along the takeover. Apart from EY the tower also hosts the companies Hidroelectrica and Cegeka.

Generali-CDG Plaza

This year too, Generali rented 4,000 sq. m in Charles de Gaulle Plaza building in Aviatorilor, a transaction brokered by The Advisers/Knight Frank. CDG Plaza is also an office building which has succeeded this year in attracting important tenants on the premises left available by Raiffeisen and UniCredit.
