Bucharest recorded the highest number of companies that entered insolvency, with 411, down by 47% year-on-year.
Iasi county comes next, with 104 insolvencies, down 27% year-on-year. Bihor and Constanta county recorded each 98 insolvencies.
By comparison, 18,358 new companies and individuals registered in the first two months of the year. Their number went down by 0.16% year-on-year.
Bucharest recorded the highest number of new registrations, 3,157, followed by Cluj, with 966 and Ilfov, with 751. (source: Romania-insider.com)
