In the European Union, the hourly labor cost amounted to EUR 25 per hour and in the Eurozone it was even higher, at EUR 29.5 per hour.

 

Denmark paid EUR 41.3 per hour whereas Belgium paid EUR 39.1 per hour, according to the EU’s statistical office Eurostat. Bulgaria had the lowest hourly labor cost in the EU, of EUR 4.1 per hour.

 

Romania recorded an annual growth of 8.2% in the hourly labor cost between 2014 and 2015, 4 times higher compared to the EU average of 2%. (Source: Romania-insider.com)
