Honeywell, with three factories in Bucharest, Lugoj and Ploieşti, currently has its headquarters on 3,000 sqm in Floreasca Business Park and a service centre on 5,000 sqm in UpGround project, owned by RREEF (Deutsche Bank) and Ioannis Papalekas. The Americans were looking for consolidation of their operations and also expansion, therefore they have recently signed a new lease for 11,000 sqm in UpGround, BOC building, the biggest office building in Bucharest, with an area of 58,500 sqm. The additional 3,000 sqm area could be used for another 300 employees’ offices, according to ZF estimations.

 

Honeywell will take over the new space at the end of this year or in the first quarter of the next year, have mentioned for ZF Jones Lang LaSalle’s representatives, the real estate consultant assisting Honeywell in the transaction. (source: zf.ro)
