The headquarters, built after a partnership between the Cefin Trucks importer and the Ford subsidiary in Turkey, includes sales, after-sales services and spare parts dedicated areas. The service area is endowed with the standards recommended by the US manufacturer, providing all Ford Trucks warranty or post-warranty services, according to company representatives.

The event was attended by representatives of Ford Otosan: Deputy Managing Director Ford Otosan Lisa King, Assistant Ford Trucks General Manager Ahmet Kınay and Ford Trucks International Market Director, Emrah. Cefin Trucks was represented by its General Manager Stefano Albarosa and the Sales Director Emilian Nahorniac.

The inauguration is part of the global manufacturer's truck segment strategy that continues to develop a network of distribution agreements on three continents, particularly in the Middle East, North Africa, Russia and Turkey, and most recently in Eastern Europe, according to Lisa King.

"As we have already grown our presence in different regions of the world, Eastern Europe is now our priority market. We are very excited to announce that this headquarters is one of the most important milestones of Ford Trucks' distribution plan, as it is our first step in Romania and the most important in Europe so far. Cefin Trucks is a very important business partner for us and we believe that this centre will make a significant contribution to the presence of Ford Trucks in Romania and Europe", said Lisa King.

Cefin Trucks' service centre has 85 employees, records an average of 600 repairs per month and has a simultaneous repairs capacity of up to 25 vehicles a day. Ford Trucks headquarters has a dedicated area of 17,000 square meters, divided as follows: a building of nearly 3,900 sqm (ground footprint), concrete parking for vehicle stock - 13,000 sqm, total office area - almost 1,700 sqm, total area service and spare parts warehouse - almost 3,000 sqm.

The objective of Ford Trucks in Romania is to achieve a market share of over 6% of the total volumes of its target segments. The official announcement of the company's launch was published in December 2016. The presence of the company in the most important areas of the country will be ensured by the existing branches of Cefin Trucks, those in Bucharest, Arad, Deva and Timisoara being already operational and by the headquarters of the partners, acting under a limited mandate as a after-sales service provider, spare parts, maintenance, repairs.
