Best Office Buildings is a 100% trademark of Forbes Romania and has been a great success since its first edition in 2015. The award ceremony was conceived as a high-rise event, but also to complement the print edition of the same name launched by Forbes Romania in March.
Thus, within the Forbes Gala Best Office Buildings are awarded every year companies with notable successes or movements in the market segment that includes the office area.

Forbes Best Office Buildings debuted with a discussion panel focusing on real estate development in the office market and the trends of 2019 moderated by Forbes Romania editor-in-chief, Ionut Bonoiu, and attended by Anca Damour, Real Estate and Corporate Affairs Director Carrefour Romania, Fulga Dinu, Country Manager Operations Immofinanz, Oana Bădărău, Partner PeliFilip, Emma Toma, Leasing Manager Office Division AFI Europe Romania and Raul Doicescu, Owner Bog'Art.

Since Forbes Romania believes in mentoring and encouraging the young generation to innovate, develop and change the business fields, for the third consecutive year during the Gala a contest was organized by inviting the students of the University of Architecture and Urbanism Ion Mincu to exhibit and present the special projects of office space. The jury included Professor Dr. Arhitect Magda Stanculescu and Lecturer Dr. Arhitect Mihaela Staicu from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism, as well as two representatives of X Architecture & Engineering company. The finalists of this contest were: team of Adelina Ţoncu and Alexandru Popa, team of Alexandru Bratescu and Laura Diana Rizea and Mihai Pandele. The winning project by Adelina Ţoncu and Alexandru Popa was awarded an internship program offered by One United Properties within the Architecture Firm X Architecture & Engineering.

During the evening, the guests enjoyed the concert of We Singing Colors and a discussion by well-known director Chris Simion about a project dedicated to theater entrepreneurship.

In the March issue of Forbes Romania, you can find a complete dossier for the office segment on the Romanian market, Forbes Best Office Hubs, 2019 Edition. It analyzes the evolution of the main areas in Romania where modern office buildings are being developed. To achieve the top, the criteria used were: vacancy rate, existing stock, announced deliveries for 2019, 2018 demand structure, and share of green buildings in total stock in each analyzed area. The necessary statistical data was provided by real estate consultancy companies Knight Frank Romania, JLL Romania, Cushman & Wakefield Wchinox, Colliers International Romania and CBRE.
