The investment for the extension will reach EUR 3 million. The first phase of Botosani Shopping Center was opened in November 2011, following EUR 15 million investments.

After the first fiscal year the commercial centre has registered EUR 1.4 million turnover.

The commercial centre has a total area of 22,000 sq. m and includes 14,800 sq. m rentable area, with Carrefour hypermarket on more than 9,000 sq. m. Commercial centre’s tenants include New Yorker, Orsay Orange, Vodafone, Leonardo, Sensiblu, Mado, Domo and Beauty Mania. Regarding rented premises, the retailer Domo occupies the largest area, 1,206 sq. m, followed by New Yorker, on 800 sq. m.

 Botosani Shopping Center currently has 26 stores and the occupancy rate is 98.03%. The commercial centre’s traffic is 3.2 million visitors annually, with 25% growth compared to last year.

Starting August 2012, the management of Botosani Shopping Center is provided by Carrefour Property Romania. (source: wall-street.ro)
