The Germans have inquired during last three months information regarding the available office buildings and asked prices, on a market where currently the tenants are making the law.

The analyze process, assisted by Andrei Ianculescu, head of real estate within Romtelecom, is still in “prospecting” the market phase, therefore no negotiations with office owners have been started yet.

 

If in the beginning of 2008 the offices occupancy rate in Bucharest was almost 100%, currently there are approx. 300,000 sqm available in the city, while the rents in secondary areas have dropped even with 50%, attracting the attention of the multinationals that could externalize locally regional service centers.
