Cora has announced since the beginning of 2011 the intention to develop a commercial centre in Braşov, after having bought the land of the former Hidromecanica factory for EUR 13 million.

This year, the company will open the Corall mall in Constanţa.

The modern commercial spaces market from Braşov could absorb another approx. 45,000 – 65,000 sqm until 2015, according to a study of the real estate consultant DTZ Echinox.

Most of the centres were launched in 2004-2008 on small areas, under 10,000 sqm. Moreover, big plans for the commercial market Braşov also has Poland’s Echo Investment, who intend to Korona Mall, and the retailer Auchan, who bought last year the Tractorul platform, in order to develop Coresi Shopping City.
