Cora will only develop the hypermarket in this commercial complex, the mall concept to be analyzed together with an associate.

The network tried to develop by itself a mall in Constanţa (Corall), but ended up eventually with only a hypermarket with a commercial gallery. Cora owns since 2010 a plot of land on 40,000 sq. m in Braşov, of the former factory Hidromecanica, but the competition has increased meanwhile.

„In Romania, the priority project is Cora Braşov. (...) We are currently carrying out an international selection in order to choose the most suitable partner, with experience in complex projects such as Cora Braşov, with which to develop the concept. The consultant for the international selection is DTZ Echinox“, said Charles de Jerphanion (37 years), the new real estate manager of the Louis Delhaize group.

Cora Romania owns on the local market 12 stores, including two opened this year. The company ended last year with business of EUR 328 million, with 1% increase compared to last year. (source: zf.ro)
