The store, situated in AFI Palace mall, has an area of 6,700 sq. m and approx. 400 employees, according to Philippe Lejeune, the general manager of Cora Romania.

This year, Cora has also opened a commercial centre in Constanta, including a commercial gallery and a hypermarket, following EUR 58 million investments. The network also includes four hypermarkets in Bucharest and six in Cluj-Napoca, Baia Mare, Arad, Drobeta Turnu Severin, Constanta and Bacau.

For next year, Cora is planning two new projects, a new hypermarket in Bucharest, in Victoria City mall, where the investment will reach a maximum of EUR 10 million and the beginning of the construction of the commercial centre in Brasov

 

Cora Romania has ended last year with a turnover of EUR 359 million, with 6% increase compared to 2011, as two new stores were opened, but the net profit went down to EUR 5.5 million, with 38.5% decrease. (source: wall-street.ro)
