The office vacancy rate registered in mid 2012 was 17.5%, according to Colliers.

The Bucharest area registering the most important growth of the vacancy rate is Floreasca – Barbu Văcărescu, where the un-occupancy increased from 3% to 24%, mostly due to the delivery of Sky Tower, where almost 30 out of the 37 floors of the building are vacant.

On the other hand, in Charles de Gaulle Square the vacancy rate has decreased from 21% to 5%, following the leases signed in Charles de Gaulle Plaza by companies such as Generali, Lafarge, Tenaris or RTPR Allen & Overy. (source: zf.ro)
