Coldwell Banker Affiliates of Romania remains the real estate company with the best turnover. Coldwell Banker registered in 2012 a turnover of approx. 20 million lei and a net profit over 300,000 lei. The departments with the biggest share in the company’s business were the residential and property management divisions The company’s business registered a slight decrease compared to last year, when a turnover of over 21.46 million was registered.

Colliers business has slightly decreased last year, from over 18 million lei in 2011 to 14.35 million lei. The company registered loss of approx. half a million lei in 2012, following a profit of over 200,000 lei in 2011.

The Advisers/Knight Frank, the company founded in 2009 by Horatiu Florescu, had the most spectacular evolution last year. The company’s turnover reached over 11.54 million lei, compared to 3.88 million last year, a growth of 200%. Regarding the company’s profitability, the evolution was even more dynamic, with almost 300% profit increase, from below 500,000 lei to almost 2 million lei.

EHL climbed to the fourth place in the agencies top with business over 7.95 lei and a profit of 1.4 million lei in 2012. EHL Real Estate, part of the Austrian group Immofinanz, was situated on the sixth place in the agencies top in 2011 with business of 7.2 million lei.  

Cushman&Wakefield, the company who closed its direct office in Romania this year, being took over by the affiliated company Activ Property Services, owned by Razvan Gheorghe, has registered in 2012 turnover of more than 7 million with a slight growth compared the level of 6.9 million lei in 2011. The company has registered though losses of approx. 1.9 million lei.

DTZ Echinox registered a turnover of approx. 5.7 million lei through the companies DTZ Holding and DTZ Evaluari, both companies being on profit. Company’s business has through decreased compared to the level of 11.9 million lei registered in 2011. The profit was also much lower than in 2011. DTZ has registered a total profit under 380,000 compared to over 1.2 million lei the previous year.

CBRE Romania, which registered a turnover of 9.69 million lei in 2011, managed to only have business of 4.79 million lei in 2012 and a loss of approx. 5 million lei, significantly above the loss in 2011, of approx. 1 million lei.

Krammer&Wagner has registered a decrease of its turnover from 5.3 million to approx. 3.6 million in 2012. The company remained on profit, but here also was a significant decrease, from over 1 million to over 160,000 lei.

BNP Paribas Real Estate has registered dropping business. Therefore, the company has a turnover of 3.8 million lei in 2012, compared to 4.4 million lei the previous year. The company registered over 300,000 lei loss in 2012.
