The highest average salary was recorded in the extraction of crude petroleum and natural gas, namely around EUR 1,275, according to the National Statistics Institute (INS). By comparison, the lowest average salary was seen in the hotel and restaurant sector, namely some EUR 281.
In September, the net average wage was higher than in August 2016 in almost all economic sectors. (source: Romania-insider.com)
