The increases of the average net earnings against the previous month were mainly due to occasional bonuses, including quarterly, annual or holiday bonuses.

 

When compared to December 2013, the increase was of 6%, according to latest data from the National Statistics Institute.

 

The highest average net earnings were registered in the crude oil and natural gas extraction sector – RON 5,802 (EUR 1,303). On the other hand, the lowest incomes were reported in hotels and restaurant – RON 1,061 (EUR 238).
