The average price reached EUR 1,015 per sqm, exceeding the threshold of EUR 1,000 per sqm for the first time in four years, according to local real estate portal Imobiliare.ro.

 

In Bucharest, the apartment prices rose by 3.3% in February compared to the previous month and by 5.3% year-on-year reaching EUR 1,089 per sqm. The prices of old apartments increased by 1.5% whereas the prices of new apartments went up by 4.9%.

In Cluj-Napoca, the average price asked by sellers rose by 3% in February compared to January, to EUR 1,186 per sqm. (source: Romania-insider.com)
