The extension comes as a complement to the project that will be built on the plot of 4.5 hectares near the mall, where up to 100,000 sqm could be developed. AFI officials did not wish to comment on the possibility of expanding the offices within AFI Palace Cotroceni.
According to the cited publication, the new offices would be built on Vasile Milea, next to the famous sphere hosting the IMAX cinema, which would be integrated into the future office project.

Through the new investment, AFI would once again bet on one of the "hottest" office centers in Bucharest, where within a 500-meter radius it has access to about 10,000 corporates working in the AFI Park office buildings (70,000 sqm GLA), Global Business Center (10,300 sqm GLA) and Campus 6.1 (22,600 sqm GLA). Moreover, in the area, both Skanska and River Development, the developer of The Light, have plans to expand the office projects they are already working on. (Source: zf.ro)
