The new tenants list that signed leases for the project includes the fashion retailer Koton (with 1,000 sqm), Smyk, Vicina, Hello Kitty, Sabon, Cărtureşti, Jack and Jones, Braiconf, Leonardo and Kenvelo. In the last few days, AFI has also signed a lease for 2,200 sqm with ,,Moving”, a fitness clubs chain from Romania, with units in Otopeni, Iasi, Cluj and soon Bucharest.

Among the tenants that signed the leases since last year are the hypermarket Cora, Flanco, H&M, New Look, Reserved, Musette, TimeOut, Collins, Nike, Aldo, Motivi, Otter, Lee Cooper, Il Passo, B&B, Jolidon, ID Sarrieri, MOA and Kitchen Shop.

The restaurants area is entirely rented to brands such as KFC, McDonald’s, El Bacha Restaurant,Pizza Dominium, Thang Long Vietnamese food and other.

AFI already started the works for the second phase of the project in Ploieşti, which will offer additional 4,000 sqm rentable area. A big part of the area was already leased to some international entertainment operators, such as Cinema City.

In a different entertainment centre in AFI Palace Ploieşti, the international operator Ice-Rink, also present in AFI Palace Cotroceni, will open a skate rink on 450 sqm, operational during the entire year. The XD Cinema (6D cinema), as well as Play Station centre have also signed leases and will be located in the proximity of the ice rink. AFI Palace Ploieşti will have at the completion of works a total rentable area of 33,000 sqm.

AFI Europe started the construction works for the commercial centre in Ploieşti in May 2012 and at the beginning of this year it obtained a financing over EUR 20 million from Raiffeisen Bank International Wien and from the branch Raiffeisen Bank Bucharest, for the development of the project.
